Thanks! I've been wanting to try these.
I just filled out the form and put in my email address, but it keeps coming back saying 'please provide a valid email address'.
Umm, it is valid.
I even tried my gmail address instead of yahoo, and it won't take. Any idea why?

I got to the site ok, the link wasn't a problem. It just wouldn't take my email address.
I backed all the way out and tried it again and it worked fine.
Thanks again! I really wanted to switch my house over to CFLs but I haven't yet due to the initial cost. This will be a big help!

Wow, thanks for posting this. I love these bulbs and getting the chance to get one of them free is definitely worth it. We have several of these in our house already but I'm looking to make our house very, very green. Hopefully this one will go in a socket that always seems to be left on.

I must have missed it. I got two free once from my power company. I liked them, but didnt love them. They did save us a bit on the power bill and that is enough for me to use them. They cost a lot to buy so we are waiting for a great sale to buy more.

Thanks for this post! I am always on the lookout for good deals, and free samples are the best! I think a free cfl lightbulb would be especially useful. I've actually been wanting to try those for awhile, but I haven't gotten any yet, so this is a good chance. Thanks for the link! I will definitely check it out.

Sorry about that. I tried it too and I went the same place you did. They must have quit giving out the free light bulbs. You have to be quick with the good freebies because they only give them out for a short time. Thanks for stopping by, I wish you would have been able to get the light bulb, they cost a few dollars a piece.

Ah well! I did get 3 of those bulbs free from my electric company last year when they were doing a promo on it. Menard's had a really good sale on them earlier this year and ended up buying 6 3-pks of these bulbs for $10 with the sale and the rebates.

Hi Joy, I am glad you spotted this one. These bulbs can be expensive. The price is right on this one, "free". Thanks so much for asking about my mom, she is doing good. Yes we did have a nice Mothers Day, went to church and then to lunch.

Aw, I'm sure glad you were able to take her out for the day. Going to church and lunch surely made her day special. As my elderly Aunt would put it 'you're a good kid.' (hehehehe, isn't it great that in the eyes of our elders, no matter how old we get we're still their 'kids' hehe) Glad to hear she's doing well! Hugs....Joy
