What comes to mind when you think if traditional American food? America has borrowed food from lots of places for example spaghetti/noodles from Italy (originally China), tacos from Mexico. What foods do you think are native to America that's not found anywhere else?

Hamburgers, hot dogs, and apple pie are the first three things that I think of as far as American food goes. Those are the three staples of almost any cookout. I can think of several other things that I would say but that is what I think of the most when someone says to name American food.
