It's not how many responses you get that's important-- its the quality of the responses and whether you learned from them !

WOW! 50 responses on one discussion? You should be proud. I have been here for some time now and have never gotten that many on any discussion. You sometimes have to request that someone be your friend. If you notice that someone has the same interest as you, send them a friend request. It just that simple , not many refuse a friend request. I just sent one to you, hope you approve.

If you get 50 responses from one discussion, you are doing very good, better than most.
If all you're doing is starting discussions, try responding to more of them and make them quality responses. People will also see you posting on their discussions, other responders will also see your responses, and you will likely gain more friends, hence more responses to your own discussions.

Hi cross,
I don't think you have any problems there. 50 responses is alot, the most I ever got is 40 and I have to say I'm lucky! There are many people here who struggles to get 10 responses to a post. Just keep doing what you are doing, that's my advice! Because whatever it is, it's working.
Have a good one

50 respond in one topic is already really good, why need more ? my highest is probbaly 40 respond or so and it tkaes me days to try to respond back to them and make new posting in mylot. For me, I am satify if my topic get 10 -20 responds.
