I heard on the news this morning that President Bush is going to Saudi Arabia in hopes of getting the oil prices under control. Do you think he can do anything that will help? I am keeping my fingers crossed on this one.

Maybe if he offers to hold hands again with the Saudi Arabian prince, they'll reconsider?

Na, they may be a bit too macho for him. He is after all a cheerleader at heart

Diplomacy usually helps negotiations. If the Saudi prince will be led around by the hand maybe he will also listen to what President Bush has to say.

I have my fingers crossed too, hoping that Bush doesn't say anything stupid that gets the gas prices even higher. I don't trust our president with passing a note, let alone negotiating with other countries. I do hope that he gets prices dropped, believe me. Just from where I'm sitting, its not very likely.

I'm glad he is doing something to try and solve the problem. At least he isn't sticking his head and the sand and hoping it will go away without any intervention.
