Back home we have a small food festival every October and then the food and wine festival in St.Catharines also around that time of yr...The one in St.Kitts I've been to and enjoyed but never the one from home...ANYWAY..I just stumbled upon the website for the Buffalo one which is supposedly one of the largest in the country or something like that http://www.tasteofbuffalo.com/event_info/about_us.php and i have to say it looks like it'd be fun to do... AND that it'd be a great way to get new dinner ideas etc etc Have you ever gone to a local food festival? Have you ever gone home after being to one and tried your own versions of some of the things you tasted? How'd it work out for you

Where I live in Georgia we have many food festivals multiple seafood, sweet (Vidalia)onions and even rattlesnake roundups. I thought the rattlesnake tasted like very slightly fishy chicken.

Late summer early fall around here we have a Greek Festival. My husband and I both enjoy Greek food. We have gone several times. They have authentic food, and costumes. The music is wonderful. It is a good time. And we ocassionally eat at my hubbys favorite greek restaurant.
