Some say 1 week old. Some say 7 days ago. Isn't that a week? Or some say 4 weeks ago or 1 month. I found this a bit odd.I wonder what determines the difference for mylot?

There's probably some math behind it. For example, 4 weeks old could be a rounding up of 3.5 weeks or more while 1 month could be what they report at 4.5 weeks or somesuch.

I've noticed this too. I think they go by the minute instead of each period of time. So that when a discussion says seven days ago, that just means we haven't reached the exact time that the discussion was posted one week ago. As for the discussions, four weeks generally is a month, but not precisely. Even though it may have been four weeks since a discussion was posted, we may still have a day or two before the new month rolls around, and therefore the discussion will be a month old.

I had never noticed this but it is odd.. Seems as if this would be a constant and all posts were either 7 days or 1 week, but not both.. Sure is nice to have someone on here that is really paying attention.. good ogin
