I just can’t figure out what is going on with my 17 month old daughter. For the past 3 days every time I or my husband (her daddy) puts her in her crib she freaks out. Screaming and crying to the point of hyperventilating! I don’t know why or what happened. My daughter has always been the child that went right to sleep. She has always had her set way in when she was going to sleep. Every morning she takes her 11 1130 nap for about an hour some times two. Every after noon between 430 and 5 napping for about an hour and going to bed every night by 10. No fuss no crying just going to bed. I can count on one hand how many times I have had an issue with nap or bed time. Has your child ever done this? What did you do? Can you suggest ANY THING??? Nothing has changed in her bed or room. Just her. Please help!! Any advise will be greatly appreciated. All answers will be positive rated!

My daughter will do this about once a week. She is 15 months old. I am not sure why she does it either. I think sometimes it is because she is actually overtired and that makes her more cranky. I hope you get it figured out and hopefully it will be a short term thing for your daughter.

could it be seperation anxiety? i think that she could be at the right age for this. maybe she just doesnt want to be away from you both, her parents? have you talked to a dr? he might be able to give you some insights.

I guess it could be seperation anxiety. She has a regular doc app coming up I will talk to him then. Daddy does nap time I do bed time. because of our hours thats how it works out. I just hope it doesn't continue too long. I liked that she went to bed with no problems. I don't know how to deal with this.
