I think that the most frustrating part about MyLot is getting your discussion in the right time. I've posted some questions earlier that weren't noticed by anyone amd I thought they were failures from the beginning, I was really interested in those subjects but... Well the odd thing is, that I usually get at least 2 responses 1-2 days after I posted a failure discussion. Does this happen to other people? How do you get your discussions noticed?

I usually think of discussion topics all day, and just write them on a piece of paper. Then around 8 or 9pm EST, I post them, that seems to be the time that most people are on. So far, all of my discussions have been responded to, but I'm sure there will be some in the future that no one will answer. I'm not sure what I will do when my first discussion goes unanswered, I suppose I will check back here at others' answers for what I should do so I will know for the future.

Sometimes my discussions don't appeal to anybody else. But because I have such good friends on here now even when I can't get a response from someone else, my friends will respond just to make sure I am acknowledged.

Sometimes I just post a discussion and see what turns up. If I don't get any responses, but I'm interested in the answer, I reword my title and see if maybe it was the way I wrote it. Sometimes you just get lucky that people are online, who are interested in the same as you...
