but a belated Happy Mother's Day to everyone! I hope your day was as wonderful as mine was. My day started off with the pastor of my church and his wife handing out Mother's Day gifts to all of the moms in the church. That was so nice. And then afterward, hubby, daughter and I went to my sister in law's where we surprised my mother in law with gifts, flowers and a barbeque. She thought she was just spending the day with my SIL and her family, so when she saw us and hubby's other brother there she was absolutely ecstatic. I don't think anything could have wiped the ear to ear grin off of her face. The food and the company was fantastic and it couldn't have been a better day. As for my mother's day gift, hubby is taking me out to dinner next weekend, and we're going to combine that with a mini celebration of my daughter graduating. So now I suppose the week is going to take forever to go by. LOL! Lots of love and hugs to everyone, and I hope you all have a great week.........Carryl

Well, Happy Mother's Day to you. I am glad that you have a great day. I did to as well. Its been a long time since I had a day like that. My fiance and the kids got me a huge card...he even had the babies put their mark on it and signed their name...i started crying..it was so sweet. I hope the week doesnt drag to much for you.

Happy belated Mother's Day to you as well, my friend. Sounds like you had a great time yesterday. Me, I just stayed home and either mylotted or slept while hubby and daughter went out and about doing stuff and spending time at his parent's house. I'm going to my mom's this weekend with my daughter to spend some time with her and help her around the house.

Thank you Kat. i was happy with me even though [part of it entailed driving back to northern virginia in a big rainstorm,through flooded streets.

Thanks... and right back atcha! Sound like your day was similar to ours... I called Mom and said we were coming over on Sunday... she didn't know we were ALL coming over, and we brought food. My sis cooked 18 pounds of ground beef for tacos... needless to say, we all took some home, and I made great soup earlier today!
The weather wasn't too promising in the morning, so I was concerned... she has a tiny house, and there are lots of us. Luckily, the rain went away, and we had a great time. Thats the way it should be!
