I watched two men probably in their 40s slug it out on the street today as i was driving to the store ,it was a funny scene as they were hitting at each other as if they were both professional boxers competiting for a title while many were standing by and watching the scene,i didnt get a cahnce to stop and know aht the problem was but i was dissappointed at both of the cos i feel there is atime we need to get over this kind oof attitude, street fighting?oh my God!.Is thereany reason why you will involve yourself in street fighting?

I am yet to see a reason for me to get tothat point even as a kid i abhor anything physical even though i had some training in martial art and i must tell you that iwas doing great but it was for self defence as we were living in an enviroment where many kids were assaulted by some unscrupulous elemnets then,it became necessary to defend yourself,i dont think i have actually used my training more than 4 times inmy entire life and it was to defend my life and my junior ones

Yes, I can understand that! It is thought to be used for defense only, never to attack! Some people are just looking for trouble!

I guess it would depend on the circumstances. I am a rather quiet, calm person so I generally do not get involved in conflict but there have been times that someone has pushed me over the edge. I have only been in one fight in my entire life and it was in defense of a weaker friend who was being taunted. The other girl got suspended and I just received shocked looks because no one thought that I had it in me, including myself. I am not a fighter so it would have to be something pretty extreme for me to engage in a fight with someone on the street.

i agree with you that it is not the bets to go physical but sometimes when extreme situations come up you may need to do just more than staying cool especially when it has to do with self defence ,i have been in a fight about twice but i generally dont go physical but i will do that if i have to do it to stay alive

Personally I do everything possible to avoid a fight but I'm not naive about it. Once someone takes a swing at me I attack and don't stop until my opponent is physically incapable of continuing the fight. Here's where it get tricky though, in my state you have to run from an attacker as soon as you have a chance. If you can't you have to use one step less force to defend (i.e. if they shoot at you you can do anything but kill them). I avoid fighting because if I do I use equal force and cross the line.
