i don't remember where i read it, but some article said that when someone asked rowling if she was going to write another book, she replied ambiguously :"not for another ten years" or something like that. does it mean that she would write another one after ten years later?

Based on what I last read about JK Rowling, she is done with the Harry Potter series. She is planning to write, yes, but other stories. I think she has done a great job with the HP books, and I adore them myself, being a fan. However, as a writer, she probably want to try her hand on other things. Still, if she changes her mind, and would write another HP novel, for sure, I would be interested in reading it. Who would not want to know more about Harry and the rest of the group? But I don't think she would.

I heard on the radio that she was involved in a copyright infringment lawsuit and one of her complaints was that her court date was interupting a book she was writing...now. No idea if it is a Hogwarts/Potter book though...perhaps she has a whole new direction she is going in now.

I personally am not interested in any more Harry Potter books. I think the series stands fine as it is. JK Rowling is so well off now thanks to books, movies, and collectables sales that she probably has more money now than she knows what to do with. So of course the only thing she can think of is making more. Money brought George Lucas back to Star Wars, I doubt we have seen the last of Harry Potter. That being said, I hope Rowlings develops a new fictional character...her talent seems to be for the imaginary, perhaps something more futuristic? Who knows.
