open marriages

What are your thoughts on open marriages? Do you think the divorce rates would decrease if people had open marriage? Do you you think that humans were pre-dispositioned to have multiple partners?

Actually I do not think that divorce would decrease. I believe that divorces increased as society became numb to family values and lack there of!

I truly agree with your statement of society becoming numb to family values. It seems that in our time now there is no time to teach family values. People are struggling to keep their head above water. However, the question still remains. Are we pre-dispositioned? Are we killing off a natural instinct by deprivation?
