How many times or how often do you go to gym? I'm just curious if going to the gym will make a difference... I asked my classmates about it and they say that it is worth going because of the benefits it will bring. I am just curious if what they said are true.. So what do you think??

Definitely! I usually go every day and it really does make a difference. Some ways to make it easier - choose a gym that is near where you live or work so that it is 'on the way' whenever you are going somewhere. That way you don't have an excuse to skip it. Pair up with a friend, either somebody you already know or somebody that tends to go to the gym at the same times/days you do. This can help you both be accountable and measure your success and the goals you meet. Check and see whether your gym offers aerobics and other fitness classes, one on one or group training or assessments. Schedule 'appointments' for yourself and try to keep them, keep track of your progress and reward yourself accordingly for reaching your goals!

Wow you are one tough gal! I thought you went to the gym like 5 times a day? Don't you work at one? But I agree going with a partner is always the best!

i never went to the gym, and i think i won't go. Why? well, i don't quite like "artificial" exercise. I'd rather go out for a nice long walk or play a sport (basketball is my favourite).

The main thing is to have active lifestyle, it is always up to us to choose how we do it, which sport we prefer. I like basketball too, but other day I choose gym for some 40 minutes. Vary is important, I think. However, I agree that going to gym is not enough as to keep You in good condition. Swimming is one of the best sports ever.

as for experience it really does make a difference. i used to be thin during my teenage days but as days passed by i was getting fatter than ever. then i also started to notice that my monthly period becomes irregular. so i went to see my obegyne. she advised me to go to gym regularly. and i did so. after several sessions i had my menstrual period. and i feel like losing some weight also. i don't even have to catch my breath too because i felt lighter then. i think going to gym also help my lungs becomes stronger than before. gym is great, it doesn't just improves your physical but it do helps a lot in your health. so don't hesitate to try some time.

I'm 25 now, and I started to attend gym when I was 14. I have had interruptions for 6-12 months, but still after some time I go there again. The one I can tell You is not to overdone, i.e., go to gym max 3 times a week, I prefer twice. If You get as addict to this, it will make You tired and bored much sooner, of course if You don't want to jump in professional level. Only gym is not enough, You have to combine it with appropriate food for Your type of body and metabolism. I think it is better to eat healthy, use only natural vitamins and supplements. It takes longer time for obvious results, but it is worht it!
