For me it was all the tests and hospitals, but the scariest was the thought of needing an emergency c-section, but thank goodness we never had to face that.

I had to take an amniocentesis test. That means they took a needle about 6" long and stuck it into my womb to draw out amniotic fluid. The first time they tried they drew blood, so they had to do the test over again. I would not want to go thru that again.

When they did the sonagram when I preggers with my first daughter, the tech saw "a bubble" in her brain. When we went back a few weeks later to have a doctor do another one to check it out, there was no "bubble". Sometimes I wonder if that had any effect on her. She has ASD.

I found out my daughter was going to be severely disable when I was 8 month into pregnancy. I had to have amniocentisis and I was scared. Thick needle poking my huge belly, I wanted to run away. My husband was about to throw up next to me. than they told me that Im having a contraction! I was like oh no, it month too early..... They gave me shot and put me in bed. I got 2 shot in 4 hours so that it will stop the contraction. I was scared on day I had my c-section but at my doctor's appointment was scary too. I hope I dont have to think about it for while until my second one.

How much it would hurt giving birth. I've only been through that once. Nothing in this world can prepare you for that! Other than thinking over and over "by tomorrow, this will be all done" That helped me through giving birth, a little.
