Final Push!

Ok guys we all know what us mylotters are capable of when we stick together, right? Well there is a lovely member here who is fairly new and is trying to help a special friend of hers win a radio competition, Her friend has been through a hard time and really deserves a bit of a treat and my lovely mylot friend really wants to ensure she will win! If you can spare a minute to help then go to http://moosefm.ca/ - the lady's name is Christine Todd and the competition is now on the final push! Voting ends at midnight pacific time on the 13th May so lets rally around and do what we know we are capable of - brighten up the life of someone who has been in the dark for a while!

Thank you so much TriciaW! It is great how we have the ability to help others when we stick together isn't it? People power! lol I have it from a reliable source that she ended with over 600 votes , more than 80 above her closest rival - it's not official though so shhhhh! lol xxx

I gave her a vote! How do you see where she stands? I noticed in the beginning of this discussion people mentioning how many votes she had but I didn't see that option when I went to the link.

Mom I love you! lol She is a friend of a friend but you know how I feel about anyone who has had to go through some dark times - guess I inherited that from you! Thank you and I am sure my friend will thank you too - oh and her points just jumped after I started reading this! lol Hugs xxx

I have already voted for Christine. I went back to vote again, but the contest is closed. I do hope she wins, please keep us all updated on how it goes, bad or good. If she does indeed win, tell her to share pictures of her enjoying her new patio.

Just saw your post mummymo and immediately went to the site through the link provided, but it looks like I am too late as it says that voting has ended. Oh well, I tried because I don't mind helping someone in need, but unfortunately I didn't see your post early enough. I was aware of your post only because it came out in the myLot Digest, and my Yahoo mail was down earlier. Hope Christine had enough votes to win this. Keeping my fingers crossed for her.

Mummymo cross my heart I have tried every single day bar three when I was away last week since Angel's discussion went up. It only let me vote the first time. I will of course try again and again. It says that you can vote everyday, but that's not been my experience. I am on a wireless network, does that make a difference do you think?

Ok mummymo, just been on and done that for you!! Looks like she is in the lead at the moment too so that is all good!! It is really nice when we can all pull together and do these sorts of things for those that are deserving and I for one do not mind helping out.

Hi mummymo! I did cast my vote and I saw that she is leading. I hope she will win since the one who have the second highest votes is nearing by 30 points. I do hope and pray she will win.
