China,disaster,horror.

I just feel so sad for the people in China, 12,000 killed 18,000 missing all these students bearied. What a terrible earthquake that was, my best wishes go out to qxnfly one of my friends here on mylot. We will all be praying for you and every one in China. Stay strong qxnfly.

Hi Gollywog, just to reassure you qxnfly is safe and posted a discussion having experienced the earthquake, however that was yesterday when I don't think they realised the magnitude. My thoughts and prayers go out to anyone all over the world that has friends and relatives in China that they are woried over at this time and to the friends and families of all the people that have lost loved ones. The discussion was probably the same as I read if she said about how she felt the tremors and ran out of her flat and others were outside and frightened. She couldnt reach her family by phone and she was very upset! I havnt heard from her since then, I will send her a message and see if she replies? Im sure mylot is the last thing on her mind right now!!!!!! I hope her family are safe! I will pray for them. I have lit a candle for the ones that are gone, for the ones that are still to be found the flame will show them the way home.

Hi Pat, the one good thing is that China have implimented amazing search and rescue technics immediately unlike in other countries so there is a good chance many will be found alive. Each person found alive a miracle within this tradegy. My thoughts go out to the parents of the children still trapped as many of these are their only children because of the one child policy in China. Lets hope they are in a pocket with air and will be safe. I still cannot believe it and I am sure others feel the same. I hope you hear from gxnfly soon. Ellie :D

It was a very sad day for the people in China and everyone throughout the world. It is hard for any of us to take. My thoughts and prayers to everyone in China and everyone throughout the world who have loved ones there. I have a friend that lives out there and am hoping that she is okay as well as her family and friends.

Thanks for all the friends here.
The earthque is a miserable disaster for our Chinese people, and I cried very time when I watched the live news on TV.
And now, a lot of people made the contribution, including some foreign companies, and also offer blood, there are so many moving things happened.
So, under the Union of Chinese prople and support of foreign friends, we can overcome the predicament, and all the sufferers will have a new home soon.
