My daughter has pretty bad allergies. At first with she had her dads cough. But it turned out to be drainage from her sinuses. That only caused a cough when she laid down at night. She has Zyrtec, a three week prescription of Singular and Benedryl if the Zrytec doesn't work. Which it doesn't seem to. So it's Bendryl every 6 hours. Anyone else having these sort of issues? I feel so bad for her.

I can have sinus infections, drainage, or a sore throat for quite some time. Even now, I'm over my cold, but I have a bit of drainage periodically and my throat gets sore sometimes. (Lymph nodes working, I guess.) I take lots of Vitamin C and try to sleep more. Doesn't always work.

My husband takes prescription Singulair and has for quite some time.. It used to work very well for him but lately it has quit working.. He might as well not be taking anything.. My son has also been bothered with allergies this year and never had them before.. Could it be the pollen and other allergy causing agents are worse this year.. My neighbor has had about 5 or 6 bouts with her sinuses just this spring, and has never had them before.. I have heard of quite a few people having this problem.. It does appear to be worse than ever before.. Hope the Benadryl works for her..

I have problem like that. Very few allergy prescriptions work from me. The best thing I have ever found for what you daughter has in the prescription nasal sprays and the Triamenic night time.

Trust me when i tell you this advice.First go to the web site www.earthclinic.com look up APPLE CIDER VINEGAR and all it's benefits. I swear by this as I suffered from allergies galore especially my sinus' not only should hse be drinking the vinegar two to three times a day...one tablespoon vinegar to one tablespoon honey or real maple syrup to make it sweet and a half a glass of water ...mix it really well so she doesn't taste the vinegar. Now go and get a NETI POT sold at most health food stores. take a teaspoon of vinegar pour into the little pot and fill the pot with warm water.... then hold her head to the side and side to side pour the vinegar thru her nasal cavity....and plug one side of the nose and make her blow out the opposite side. This will clear her almost immediately. You do not want your daughter on all kinds of medications like Zyrtec or Benedryl the other stuff....Apple cider Vinegar is a miracle cure. I suffered from 'sinus' stuff for years and the apple cider vinegar helped so much...over night. there is another site www.applecider-vinegar-benefits.com that is an amazing site too! there are many recipes on that site and how you do the vinegar rinse. remember the vinegar when put into the nose burns so be very light handed when you add to the neti pot or she will scream. However the drinking of it, for all of us is wonderful and cure for almost anything! hope this works. xooxo
