Everyday you hear stories of teens beating one another, killing each other, using drugs, digging up a body and using it's skull for a bong. I know youth is a time of self discovery, a time when trouble is found. Usually most young people make mistakes, learn and move on and become well behaved adults. Now it seems the behavior has become more extreme. What's going on with today's youth? Broken Homes Being Exposed to too much violence What's the problem and how do we fix it?

I try to keep my boys busy wiht activities at school. They are still young, but I think it's important to keep your children busy in activities that they enjoy.

exactly always keep them busy but even then it always depends on the child themselves even class presidents ,strictly A Students with great parents turn out to be criminals i dont understand i really think it has to do with some odd off the wall curiosity ? maybe ...some kids have their entire life set up for them and they throw it away for a thrill

I think our youths face so much today, because they are trying to keep up with a world that just wont wait for them. There are so many different influences in our childrens lives and they are expose to so much more negative things than positive. As parents in some ways we are failing our children, this is sometimes unavoidable as so many parents have to work two and three jobs just to make ends meet. And many kids are falling by the wayside because of this. There is no one thing that can fully take the blame, but a culmination of many things. As for fixing the problem it's going to take us as a society to come up with solid solutions, this will not be easy as these problems did not happen overnight

I agree, parents working constantly in order to support the family is creating a great disservice for their children. It's a horrible cycle parents must work to support the family, but that leaves no one to watch over and raise the family.

It's a big problem even in our country. The main problem of our young people is a problem of free time. They have no much places where they can spend it. They simply walk in the streets amusing themselves as they can.

There is a lot of free time and unfortunately many schools are cutting after school programs and sports teams, because of budget cuts.

Some parents think because the world is the way the world is, they need to teach their kids about it. Or ignore what they do because they think it's the norm. We need more people who care to do what is necessary in this country. It starts at home, but our economic position might have a huge part in it. We need politicians who care, corporations who care, people who care, not people who just want our money. That's the problem.

True, it seems no one has time to care about others anymore. Everyone is considered with how they are going to survive, the rich are worried about holding on to their fortunes and the middle and lower class continue to struggle. The stress of supporting a family, working non stop takes it toll on families.
