Our agreement is that he does all the kitchen stuff (cook, clean, dishes) in the kitchen and I do the rest. BUT he has been so wonderful and supportive as I strive to be a photographer that I said to myself, let me surprise him. SO I went home for lunch, took the trash out, cleaned the stove, did the dishes, wiped down the counters and table :-)
Do you think he'll notice? Heehee. he thinks I went for a walk in downtown for lunch!
Have you ever done anything nice to surprise your partner?

Wow, I thought this discussion was going a whole different way. I thought it was gonna turn into one of those "So I Went home for lunch AND was going to surprise him by doing his work for him, but the kitchen was in such a mess...." type discussions.
Will he notice? He might, I suppose it all depends on how much of a neat freak he is. My fiance would.

Aww I'm glad it went well and he noticed AND appreciated it..that was sweet of you Mare...Have I ever done that sort of thing...Yea there've been times when I've done his laundry for him when he's been busy etc....

I would just like for my wife to meet me at the door naked and jump my bones every now and then. that would be surprise enough for me LOL

Ah im sure he will notice and if he doesnt drag him in there and refuse to let him leave until he finally realises! My partner would never notice if I did it because I always do it anyway its all the norm in this house that I do the cleaning lol not that I mind I prefer to do it myself.
