My daughter took this awesome picture and entered it in a contest. She is a semi finalist and she'd really would love to win. She has a 8.6 rating.
If you could please place a vote for her as many times as you can to help her out, I'd appreciate it.

It is a very nice photo, and I gave it a 10. However, I feel I should inform you that picture.com, is not exactly a straight-up compitition. I've put pictures into them before, and every single one of them was a "finalist" (and, really, I'm not that good). Eventually, your daughter is going to get a message trying to sell her a lovely photo book including her photo with those of other finalists (for about $60). She'll probably later be invited to the picture.com convention to see if she has won a cash prize. She'll be guarenteed an award (you have to pay for the trip, hotel, convention fees and the trophy, of course). It's pretty much a money making business for them. There's no harm in voting, but don't get too caught up in their hype.

Hi icyorchid!, i voted! because it should win. The back button is all messed up because it is a secured site so it took me a minute to get back here to respond. I wish here luck!

I hate these things: Picture.com is not a legitimate contest: it is a well known scam site which requires you to sign away all rights to your photo, and which awards prizes and high ratings to any picture submitted.
All "winners" - which means virtaully every entrant - are required to buy an expensive coffee table book in order to receive their prize. Most do get the book once they have paid - eventually (it can take months of mailing and demands - sometimes years). You might also get an invitation to attend a fancy presentation with a friend at $600 a head.
The only good thing about this mob (which is part of the International Library group of scammers) is that they don't claim copyright or ownership of your photos.
Do not participate!!!
