We grow in God one day at a time , or one moment at a time. You are right it is a baby step at a time. Each day if we desire and try to be closer to God then we will be. We continually are growing in the Lord. He never puts more on us than we can take without an escape and that escape is depending on God and allowing Him to do a work in our lives one step at a time.
