Fifteen-year-old Filipina singer wow them all at her guesting at Oprah's talk show, with her powerful rendition of "I Have Nothing", originally sung by belter Whitney Houston. Wow, Charice never ceases to amaze people. And she is a home-grown talent, I mean a Filipino born in the Philippines to Filipino parents, not another Fil-Am who made it big in America. Of course, I have nothing against Fil-Am, but she has made it despite tougher competition to make it internationally. It may be remembered that her fame started at a local talent show held at ABS-CBN but her international reputation was anchored through the You Tube. And here, courtesy of You Tube, I am sharing this segment featuring her guesting at Oprah. Congratulations, girl! :-)

Yes...being a filipino, no one can be more prouder for Charice's international success. Aside from the very huge talent this lady has a very big heart. Just recently she celebrated her 18th birthday here in the Philippines with some of the less fortunate children. This was held at her laguna hometown on the Enchanted Kingdom theme park for kids. She performed...sang a few songs and made some of her dance moves...plus she catered some delicious looking foods for everybody. For me I consider charice as somebody more mature than her age and I believe God gave her this extraordinary singing talent because God knows she will use it in a more positive manner. Right now she is being idolized by most Filipino kids and some may not actually be filipino but from another country...and being in such power she influences these childron to pursue their dreams and never give up. Just believing and having faith towards self and God is the key ingredient of all success she maybe having right now. Some talented people may choose 2 different roads after and during their successful moments....first is you'll either devour on it selfishly or just create a good influntial power over people who looks up on you. Charice epitomizes the decision of the latter and in such I believe she'll encounter more of the success not just on his singing career but also in helping other people...especially kids.
