Have you pay any attention to China? This year is an important one for all Chinese, while it is also a year for us. At the beginning of 2008, there was a big snow storm, and now there is an earthquake here. China is just a developing country. A lot people need to work hard everyday in order to live. Most Chinese people ,about 80%, are peasants, they have litte money. By this time, the Chinese need others' help. Please try your best to help the Chinese people, whose house destroied in the earthquake, family members died or dying during the earthquake. Please help.

I focus on the earthquake news from TV. Although I don't have family or friends in Sichuan Province, but I care about the people there as it's very sad to see they lost family and home. We will donate money and clothes and try to help them to go through this difficult time. I love China

maybe clothes are not the very important things by now. it is May by now, and it is not so cold in Sichuan. what they need are food, water, boold and other things. we can not send other things to there easyly. money maybe the best choice. Red Cross Scciety is asking for people's help, please find the account, and send your money.

I am sorry for what I had said that day. We know that there are nearly no house there, by now. They try their best to live, and we should try our best to help them. Guangzhou is not so near to Sichuan, and we know just one road can get into that place now. Send money might be the best way.

I am from Guangzhou and here it's the summer now. It's hard to think that it is not the same in Sichuan now. From the media, I learn that the people still need the clothes, quilts, tents and so on. Perhaps it is cold at night.

I completely agree with you. I'm just not sure if this request for help is appropriate. Nearly all of us are aware that there has been an earthquake in China, we are not so ignorant that we don't see whats going on in the world. Things like earthquakes, snow storms and other natural disasters happen all over the world. P eople in Africa, India, USA, Canada, UK, China, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Russia, and many, many, many other places starve and are in lack of things you need to survive (clothes, shelter, medical care). There will always be people in need of help, I don't like that, but its reality. The bottom line is that not all of us are able to help the Chinese that were affected by the earthquake. Some of us already donate on a regular basis to charities, or simply can't afford it. My heart goes out to the survivors, the deceased and everyone else in China.

I've been closely monitoring the news about china's earthquake and I can't help myself from crying when I see the footages about this news. I was really saddened by the fact that a school buried 900 children alive and the rescuers are having a hard time getting them out there. This situation not only call for help from the China's people alone, this calls for an international help. I personally want to be there to help but there's nothing I can do for now but to offer prayers that rescuers soon reach the survivors of the quake.

I'm Chinese. I will donate, cut from my salary. All Chinese should give our hands to help first, we have to, cause they are our compatriots. They may be our firends' friends' friend or family, or our colleagues' family, our colleagus' friends, any kind of relationship. Pray for them, care about them, help them!! Myself first

thank you for your help. pray for them, help them. send money, send things... by this time all Chinese should try our best to help. and try our best to make more people to live. Wenchuan is not Tangshan, so many years have past, we should try our best to change the bad result.
