well, it depends on what kind of food you want there is saying "you are what you eat". i believe that healthy food is better for our body than junk food. there is food that good for your body and your mind, other food is good for your body but not good for your mind; and there is also food which is not good for your body but good for your mind - that is food that you want to eat.

It feels good to eat whatever you want. But it's risky in doing so, because not all food are good for health. Some might even cause cancer. If we continue to have such 'freedom', then our diet might go out of control. I used to be like the way of eating whatever I like. But when I am getting older, I tend to be thinking in mature way and treat my health my top priority. Eating habit is related directly to our health and therefore, eating the right way is very important.

Hi ii. It's not bad to eat what you want. But its bad when your health deteriorates because of what you eat. I do eat what i want but i take it moderately and i also think of the health contents of the food i take everyday. I love to eat Kentucky Fried Chicken but when i have two pieces of chicken today, i won't eat any other deep fried foods for the next two or three days. One thing you have to make sure is that the food you eat has health qualities like less or low fat, less or low cholesterol, etc. By watching what you eat, it helps you to eat smartly too. You can have what you want to eat but give and take. Today you take deep fried chicken, tomorrow you have something soupy, the day after you have some stir fried food. Even though you want to eat what you want, be sure to balance your meal. You can still eat what you want and still enjoy your remaining life. All the best.

ii1016 Yes it is for me becauseI do want to enjoy my remaining years I eat as healthily as I can. I am a diabetic and if I get toohigh blood glucose I feel really bad so I try to eat the foods that let me feel really good and I chose those I like the best so I do not always eat everything I want as some things would make me ill. ex. too many hamburgers too many french fries, too much potato chips these I like but they make me ill. so I like to feel good so I eat what is good for my health.

I think it's just as important to feed our minds as much as our bodies, and if your mind tells you that you want a certain thing to eat because it's enjoyable, then the enjoyment you get from it is doing your mind a helluva lot of good. It can become a problem though if you sort of become addicted to certain foods that are bad for you, as your body does need a daily intake of all the right vitamins/minerals etc. but hell - go for it - life is for enjoying, and if we shorten it in the process, at least we've had some fun living it.
