I saw this lady at a stoplight with her mouth wide open, and no she wasn't on a cell phone call, she was putting on eyeliner, why do you girls do this involuntary action?

Yea, it's kind of like when you lean up to do it your neck sort of stretches and your mouth can open if you let it. Some do, some dont.... It's fun though!

Hey dude to each his own! If you dig the makeup more power to you! LOL! I like when a guy knows his way around a makeup bag!

Most women do this - it stretches the skin around they eye area so that the eyeliner can be applied smoothly. It's just an involuntary action. I suppose it's the same as when men are shaving - they pull the skin on their faces to stretch the skin and get a closer shave! Makes sense, yeah?

um..y'know,i really don't know? it kind of brings down the face a little bit while you're opening your eyes.less chance of the eyelashes getting in the way while you're trying to draw the line.

Because it stretches there face, and opens the under part of the eye. Allowing the bottom lid the make-up application.

That's what it says on page 4 of my make-up book too. :)

I think it streches out skin a little, and it's easier to get eyeliner in the exact spot its wanted. Either that or it's just a weird habit. xD
