yes, I heard the song before too. I like the song a lot and thought it was sad also. the fact that his father didn't want to have nothing to do with him, and than when the son does get older, he doesn't have nothing to do with his dad. it all is like a payback is hell song. the father does his son wrong when the boy is little and young, and when he grows up, he doesn't have nothing to do with his father when his father is old and wanting attention from his boy. It's like the father saying to the boy,"I didn't want to have nothing to do with you when you were younger, but now that you're older, I want you in my life cus I'm getting older now." it's kind of sorry as ever the way he treats his kid.
