My oldest son was taking a shower last night before bed. but come to find out he wasn't alone in the shower. he starts calling me and I run in there thinking something awefull happened, and he's trying to catch a lizard, that somehow got in the tub with him. he was just swimming around. I told him to hurry up and catch him LOL. My son finally caught him and set him free. Have your kids found an unusual pet?? how did you react, how did the kids react???

I'm used to the little green geckos...I like them alot actually...but I don't like those ugly palmetto bugs, which look like giant, flying roaches. My grandson caught a HUGE one one afternoon and brought it over to show me. Naturally, it got loose while he had it in my house and we had to chase the disgusting thing all around before he caught it again. I made him take it to the far end of the block before letting it go so, hopefully, it would find some place else to call home.

LOL that is so cute and so funny. We have never found anything unusual like that in the tub. But my kids one time found this little tiny snake in the yard. It was as small as a worm. They brought it inside and it would wrap itself around our little fingers. We kept it in a jar with holes in the lid and grass in the jar for a few days. we played with him every day. He seemed to like to be held or carried around. Then I asked the kids to set him free because we did not know what to feed him and he was meant to be a wild animal. Reluctantly they did so.

Where in the world are you? In Arizona this is quite common. Mysti brings stuff like that into the house and sets it free, all the time. LOL At the cottage in NOrthern Ontario, my sister ound a little tiny snake, and rescued it. ;-) Mom thought it was the cutest thing in the world.
