I am wondering a couple of things about reviewstream from those of you that use that site... I have written 5 or 6 reviews for them. Today, I was sent an email telling me I was being paid bulk rate for one of them and that the amount was confirmed or something. So, I went to the site and did a little hunting. Once I figured out how to see what my grand total was, I saw that it was only $2, which was the bulk rate I had just earned. However, it shows that my other articles were published. Why am I not getting anything for the other reviews that were published? Am I not understanding how this works? Also, is it wise for me to check the bulk rate box? Or can I get better pay from not checking it? I actually don't understand the difference, so I have been checking it just in case. lol Any help would be greatly appreciated!

check this out this is happening to alot of people getting ripped off from review stream, the whole system seems a little fishy and not fair.In addition, Review Stream claims to pay descent. They make you believe that it actually is possible to achieve your goals of making money online, or at least hitting the “cash out mark” a few times. Review Streams sign up page says that there’s no limit to how many reviews you can submit in a single day. They even tell you “Submit 500 if you want!” They have this absolutely ridiculous pay system that works as follows: You get paid in one of two ways. 1.By “Bulk Rate” - which only happens if you check the “bulk rate box”. Bulk rate is supposedly “regular rate divided by 5. Example: if the regular rate is 5.00 USD, the bulk rate will be 1.00 USD.” - whatever that means is way beyond me. Or 2. By “Flat Rate”. This is when your review doesn’t meet their unspecified criteria. Then you get .20 cents for it. Now, I am not saying anything bad about ReviewStreams confusing criteria, pay or program in general. I will even admit that I was curious about it and decided to give it a try for myself. However, I DO have a problem with this companies shady tactics. This is my issue. Their cash out mark is set at $50.00. This is fine, assuming that you are able to get a few bucks per review. But if they “magically” decide that your reviews don’t fit their “criteria” you only get .20 cents, remember? Now this puts a whole new spin on things. At a whopping .20 cents per review, you would have to write 250 reviews to cash out! What a rip off!

hmmm, both of you have a point...making of about five to seven reviews in reviewstream is just like making ten or fifiteen post in mylot though they both have uncertainty of how much you will get paid.

You have a point there mnflower but think about something else... How many posts do you write to make $10 dollars in Mylot? This is in no way meant to b an insult by the way but I like to use both Mylot and Review Stream to fund my income and it's my first time using both sites! I intend to stay with them both and have already made it close to cashout, by the end of the week I should be able to request my first payout from them. Actually mnflower, I just think it's a good source of extra income...why not write 5 reviews a day and get an extra 2 dollars huh? It can add up to 60 dollars by the end of the month. Have a good one

Hi subha, i think I read somewhere that it is 200 words. But 20 sentences seem like more than enough to have 200 words...hmm usually when it tells me that i just hit the back button and think a little harder on the product I'm reviewing to see what i might have missed.

i think you have written 5 reviews totally and has been paid bulk rate for all the 5 reviews. If you have checked the bulk rate option and if the review is for some popular categories like electronics, travel then you will be paid the review rate --that is $2.00.Otherwise you will be paid (40 cents 1/5th of regular review ).Try to be specific and give your experience with the product to get regular rate.

Hello Kemmerlin. Writing is a hobby for me. I have been writing reviews for "Reviewstream" for quite some time now. For some I get paid $2 and some the bulk rate which is $0.40 at this time. To understand the system, I would suggest you take a look at the Q & A Section. The way they manage the system is explained there quite nicely. If writing is your hobby too, do continue writing on "Reviewstream". Have a nice day !

Thanks so much for your response :) It really seems like this would be a pretty well-paying site in comparison to many others. Not to mention how fun and easy it is. I love to give my opinion of things I use..

Hi kemmerlin, Sometimes my Review Stream confirmations go to my junk mail folder. Today I received an email and saw my earnings jump straight from $35 to $38 and I wondered where the extra dollar came from. It was when I went to delete my junk mail I saw the missing pieces staring back at me. It is hard to get paid 2 dollars per review there but I have been lucky (probably because of the category the product belonged too and probably because I was very descriptive of what I liked and disliked about it) and must have gotten paid 2 dollars for 10 of my reviews and the rest at bulk rate. I would recommend that you do 5 reviews a day or so,or more if you feel up to it, at bulk rate and if you write 5 a day for example, that 2 extra dollars a day...60 dollars extra for the month! If you want to know your total there is a link on the site where you can enter your email address to get the amount you have in your account currently.

I wrote two reviews and got paid 40 cents each...better than nothing, I guess. The site needs to explain things better. I think if they improved the looks of the site, it would do much better. Good luck! I will try to submit a few more reviews and see what happens.
