Do you think that purchasing shoes for children that cannot walk is pointless? My son cant walk but I love dressing him up in an outfit and putting little shoes on him. Its a fashion statement and I think they just complete an outfit...

I think that shoes are cute and do serve a purpose in the cold, but you are only suppose to put soft soled shoes on a baby who cannot yet walk. Hard soled shoes hamper the development of their feet and they way that they learn to walk.

I didnt know that about hard soled shoes, thanks for that I'll make sure I take notice of what I'm putting on bubs' feet from now on.

I bought my babies moccassins, they were soft, kept their feet warm, and completed an outfit! Babies' feet need room to grow properly, especially the toes, too confining shoes will lead to "hammer toes".
