What do cockroaches do during the daytime?

I really don't know what they are doing in the daytime maybe plotting on how they can annoy the human race when it gets dark. Here's a website on the nasty lil bugs and boy after reading this site I think these bugs will out last us all. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cockroach

i think they just stay there to be safe. they just cant be outside wandering while all the people are awake. i think they learned their lesson from their great great great grandparents. :) sleep? yeah.. and reproduce.

I lived in Hawaii for four years, and had to deal with cockroaches by the dozen. I think that in the day time, they sit in their little hidy holes and plot their nighttime attacks. lol

i have noticed that in the daytime, they hide out in dark places. u dont see them as much as u would in dark areas. i always thought they would lay more eggs. the next couple of days. it seems like they multiply over night.there would be more then than the day before. if they are in the cabinets, and u open the cabinets to get food. they will run to try and get away.

I think,they hide themselves in the hiding places,and then sleep,as they will have to wake up when every human being sleeps.
