What do you do...

Well if I cant find any discussions that interest me that is my sign to log off and do something else with my time and check in later with Mylot. But I dont work so I have all day and night to make time for Mylot.

There are time where I can't also find any interesting topic to respond and most of the time, I don't post since I can't think of any good topic! I usually browse in any of new topic, hot topic,top discussions and sometimes, try to respond on any topic which has no responses or were just posted!

Well, i am a student and I have just finished my graduation . I am going to sit in two entrance exams next month and I hope I will get a good college for do Post Graduation in Computer Science . Thanks !!!

Sometimes I just gaze on other topics, stare at the monitor, still hoping to find something that could make my day and respond to it. And if in-case I haven't seen any, I would logout then maybe come back after an hour or two to see if there's already something that I can post at. That happens to me every once in a while, I've searched almost everywhere and can't really find anything that interests me..

well, if i don't have anything in mind for discussion, i usually reply to those who respond in my discussion and choose the best response.,Ü hmmm what else? post some pictures i guess.,Ü

aseretdd with all the hundreds of discussions you must be very picky if you cannot find one to respond to are you sure you looked at all the different ones.how about those with no responses. why not respond and help a newbie at the same time.I spend my time on mylot mostly responding to discussions and checking on my own discussions and giving best responses.

I usually visit my discussions i've started and my unresolved discussions. This way, i still engage to mylot in a productive way and lessens my unresolved discussions which I have tons. The section I really wanted to visit is my discussions i've responded to but I just don't have time anymore..

Yes, there are days when I can find nothing good to respond to...especially since I've turned my notification off. There are a few things I do then. One is to check all my discussions to see if I've missed any responses or comments (I'm not always notified of responses...myLot sometimes slips up). I also have a folder of discussions I wanted to respond to and didn't have the time...since last month and I go through that if I can find anything interesting in those old discussions. I also go through my friend's profiles for their old discussions that I find interesting...and through that I sometimes get similar discussions of interest. All these keep me busy when I can't find new interesting discussions.

I usally read and respond to my friends first or the emails I recive from mylot. Then I go to mylot and look for top discussions. I also search discussions like a movie I just saw I look it up to see if there are discussions about the movie I have seen.

This has been happening to me for the last few days. If I can't find anything I want to respond to then I log out and check back later. I have other things I do online that I make more money with so if I don't have anything to say here then I go elsewhere for a while. :)

I make sure I get to all my friend's discussions. I have everyone's notifications on, so I always have plenty of discussions to choose from. I think it is important to answer my friend's discussions before I go to anything else. Then I go to random users in those discussions and check out the discussions they have on their profile. And I go from there.

I understand what you mean. There are also times when I find myself staring blankly on my monitor just because I can't think of any discussion to start or I can't find a discussion that I can respond to. Sometimes, I open other sites so that I can use the otherwise idle time to search for possible topics to work on. At times, I also go over my unresolved discussions and give best responses. There are instances when I simply work on other GPT sites that I am a member of.

I dream up new discussions with my idle time. If I can't think of any, I do my BR's and all that.

if i cant find a discussion to respond to, then i would log off to mylot and turn off the computer....i will just watch the television and login to mylot the next day....

i usually just enjoy reading other people's discussions and responses if i can't find anything that i want to respond to or i am not in the mood to post... sometimes just reading other people's discussions can be lots of fun and you can gain a lot of knowledge from there... that's what i do on my idle time here... take care and have a nice day...

I had a day a couple days ago when I couldn't find a discussion I wanted to respond. I don't think it was necessarily the discussions, it was more me. I did a few unresolved discussions, but didn't want to do that either. I just got off the site and handled some other kinds of emails. I did some surveys and responded to personal emails and got off the computer completely.

You have a personal problem if you can't find something to discuss on mylot...

I do not come on to mylot every day. In fact, I do not really think of posting or responding on a regular basis. And, I should say I am a bit selective in picking the ones I like to respond. That's not because I do not appreciate the postings. I value all the efforts being made by mylotters ! I respond to only those which I feel I have a reasonably logical views and answers !

Hello aseretdd, Since I am a little bit far behind here, this is what I am doing- I am digging old discussions. I don't have any new notifications - been here since 8.30 a.m. and I got like less than 5 new notifications. Oh, I am having a lot of free time this week and maybe for the whole month of August since my boss is on holiday. I really hope I can spend more time here; responding and starting new discussion. An hour ago, I wasn't doing anything except staring at my computer screen especially my e-mail page, waiting for the next notification!

yes if i get a bit bored here i usually go and do a bit of cleaning up like my unresolved discussions.i also look at the new mylotters posts and try and respond to a couple of those ,as a bit of encouragement.cheers sue
