Would u immediately use ur mobile phone's light or look for a candle or an emergency lamp or dont do any of these and just wait for another 5 or 10 mins for the power to return or what else do u do, if not these?

I'll make sure i go search for my mobile phone and then i'd go look for a candle. But that depends on where i am when the power goes off. If i'm in my room, i'll search for my mobile phone first and candle comes next. But if i'm somewhere at the kitchen, i usually would turn the stove on. and start searching for candles. But after 5-10minutes, the power still doesn't return, i normally would call up the company and make a report or get some explanation where sometimes they received calls earlier with the same problem and from the same area, they'll just tell you what went wrong.

Hello, sharay! I have kept an emergency light which lights up soon after the power goes off.so i have no problem for nearly an hour.in the meantime the power would come back.if it goes beyond an hour than i shall have to find out the alternatives.thanx.

I always have candles and matches handy. One candle in a holder in the bedroom and several boxes of candles in the kitchen. Also torches. I also always try to have a reasonable supply of food that doesn't need refrigerating or much preparation, in case of longer-term emergencies.

i ussually use my cellphones light to find the candles..then if the power does not return for a couple of minutes we spend the night story telling and playing cards.
