I'm vary close to my mother than my father. It dosn't mean that I don't love my father. I love my father as much as I love my mother. If there any problem or anything to discuss, I'll talk to my mother and than my mother will refer to my father. It always happen in that way. Sometimes if I want to ask something from my father, I'll ask it through my mother. My father is a soft spoken person and don't like to talk much. But he is vary kind to people. He is hardworking and never ask other people to help eventhough he is in a big trouble. My mother is always be in his side in every situation. That why their marriage have reach 55 years old.

While i was growing up i used to be very close to my mother than i was with my dad,but when i started working i guess a change came and probably i started thinking more like a man and the bond between me and my dad is now better but i still try to maintain the balance so my mum will not feel jealous that am now close to her husband but we all enjoy good relationship.

Fiirstly congratulations to your parents on 55 years of marriage. Admirable. I think I am closer to my mum than my dad for opening up and talking about things but even though I am 45 myself now I am still daddys girl but we tend not to have indepth discussions. Men don't talk as much do they. Ellie :D
