here is my issue and I hope not to offend anyone by this but something has to be done. This country has become so passive and liberal that we are willing to allow our own constitution to be changed for others. I say if you do not like our ways of religion or other holidays or the way this country is going, then delta is ready when you are. I mean come on when is enough enough? why do we have to change so others don't complain. This country was founded on the basis of freedom. But the one thing we are losing is freedom freedom of religion we can no longer use the word Jesus in schools or pray to him if we choose. We can no longer celebrate Christmas or the schools can not put up a picture of santa clause in the class rooms now. When does it end when do we say enough is enough. Go to any other country and tell them there beliefs offend you. What do you think would happen to you?

It's sad that our freedoms are slowly being chipped away before our eyes and the voices raised in protest are often ridiculed as being intolerant or "politically incorrect."I think the concept of political correctness is just another way of saying to keep your mouth shut while we take away your liberties to further our own political gain. Any religous expression is touted as a phobia, a fear of change, and ostracized by the powers that be. I think the whole thing is just a symptom of the straying of the nation from the sound Christian values upon which our nation was founded. The loss of our liberties is an expression of people's willingness to go into the bondage of sin. As the Good Book says, "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people."

Good morning foundmyangel, I hear what you are saying. It is my understanding that the Natives were the first people to live on the soil now call the USA. How can someone "discover" something that was already found? "This country was founded on the basis of freedom." really? Wasnt Christopher's boat filled with slaves?

well I agree that slaves may have been used back them it was common for many of countries to have slaves not just America or great Britian. Slavery goes back to the days of the bible. Way before any American had any but for some reason we are most mentioned about slavery. We didn't go to there country and take them as a slave and also there own people sold them to be used as laborers. But that is another topic and a touchy one and one That today is no longer believed in The united States. As far as this country being found sure it was occupied by the natives my ancestors but we made the decision to sell out the land and allow them to move here but as they grow in numbers we had to make more sacrifices and that is because of the growth. Wars were made from this move and now look at us the forefathers that came here to make a new colony of freedom and right to choose was founded.

Hear! Hear! The most powerful country in the world is beginning to be crippled from within. Terrorists don't need to do the work, we are doing it ourselves! Isn't the majority still Christian? Don't we live in a democracy, where majority rules? Why do we bow to the few that complain?

Because the many does nothing. we look at it as its not in my yard and it doesn't effect me directly but what they don't understand is if you allow one thing you better be prepared to allow the rest to change as well. When we get Obama as president you will see drastic changes and not for the people at all. If you get the chance to you should listen to Glenn Beck and his findings on the electorials that are running right now fro President. it will amaze you at how politics turns a blind eye and how we are easily lead to follow what the media says.search it on youtube or go directly to his site Glenn Beck and check it out for yourself...
