I have it in my hips, shoulder and arm, and hands but it isn't real bad yet. I try to do things at home in the home remedies to help me get better. I was just reading a site on home remedies on arthritis. Here are some ways to treat your arthritis at home and make it better.
1. Wrap red flannel around the part of your body that has arthritis overnight. I am not sure what this will do but if it gets bad enough I'm sure I'd give it a try.
2. Get a massage in warm olive oil. Oh, that sounds so good! I would love to have a massage I know it would take a lot of aches and pains out just by relieving stress.
3. This one I had never heard before either. Constipation will make your arthritis worse. You need to take a lukewarm enema for a few days and cleanse your body. I do know that we all need to do a body cleanse every so often for all of our ailments. I do the whole body cleanse and will be doing the liver cleanse pretty soon. They really do get rid of all kinds of impurities in our bodies.
4. Rub the arthritis achy spots with hot vinegar before going to bed. This is supposed to ease the aches also. Wow! That would be easy enough.
That is just a few tips for arthritis. I will continue in another discussion as I find more interesting tips. I sure hope these are helpful to you as they will be for me. God bless you.

Yes, I have arthritis in my ankles, knee, neck and wrists. It has some times of flare up that are aggravating, but I do not reckon it is too very bad yet. Thank you for the hints for things that I can do at home (frugally and safely) to garner some relief.

I started to feel the symptoms of arthritis at a very young age. Our doctor believes that I might have inherited it from my father's side as most of them suffer from this ailment. I do not get it that often but when I do, it's really very painful. Thank you for sharing the tips. I will try that.

Yes I have arthritis in my hips and back which makes it hard to walk or stand for
any period of time. I found that sleeping on silk or satin sheets also helps. I will be trying the vinegar if I can stand the smell all night. I have been told that certain foods may make it worse and some will make it better. Will share these with you when I find which ones do what...
Thanks for the info.

Nope I dont have arthritis thank god. But I know somepeople at work who have it and from talking to them I am very thankful I dont have it even though im young and I can get it when im older which I hope not. I know for a lot of people that have arthiritis where they have it weather it be in the arm or in the legs it starts to act up when ever its going to rain or snow that week which is a weird thing.

You didn't say if it's rheumatoid or ostio arthritis, but drinking cherry juice will help both. Be sure it's 100% juice, not the cherry drink. Or you can eat tart cherries or buy the black cherry extract in capsules.
Also a cup of hot water with 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and one teaspoon of honey daily can help. Both of these remedies help dissolve those little crystals that form around joints and helps kill bacteria that results from the irritation they cause.
If you can find the fresh turmeric root and incorporate it into your food as a spice on a regular basis this will help reduce inflammation and strengthen cartilage in the joints. Turmeric is related to ginger. If fresh ginger is available it will help also. They are both very effective anti inflamatories.
