Do beauty creams work?

I was shopping for a beauty cream the other day, and was completely confused by the range and extreme price variation. I started to wonder if any of them work to keep skin young and fresh looking as many claim to.
What is your experience of beauty creams?

Oyl of Olay. This is the only "beauty cream" I'll ever use.
I have used Olay since the beginning of the birth of my first child and today at 40 there is not one wrinkle, line, or showing of any age over late 20s on my face.
It works so well for me as I have been asked to show my I.D. in some places as they don't see my 'real' age.
I have an aunt that uses it also, she is in her 60s but looks like she's is still in her 40s.
There are any different types ~ I personally use 'total effects', it's for all skin types.
I love Oyl of Olay products. They may be up there in the expensive area but, to me, they are very well worth it.

Gemini, I also think Oil of Olay is the best product. I used to use it and I think I will return to using it. Thank you for reminding me!
