Has anyone seen anything about the new 90210 that will begin this fall? What are your thoughts on this?
I was a huge fan of the original and I know it says they are bringing back Jennie Garth for a guest spot. I just hope they arent gonna just try and copy the old with a new cast. I will be tuning in to check it out how about you?

I also liked the original as well. Hopefully this new one will be just as good. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

i was a fan, but i dont know if i will be glued to the tv agian for this new 90210 thing, i would prolly check it out and see how i feel. its suppose to be better and diferent at the same time ffrom the old 90210..lets see.

This is the first that I have heard about it. I didn't know they were bringing back 90210. Now is this suppose to be the same show?? I mean are they going to have the same characters, but using different actors and actresses? OR are they doing a spin off of the show..something like 90210 but yet, different characters? What channel is this going to be playing on? I loved 90210 and wouldn't miss a show if I could help it. I will have to check this new one out. Thanks for sharing this with us. Have a great day!

It is on the CW I just read a fast bit about it and If I read right it is a spin off with jennie garth as a counciler or something. I wish I could find where I read it now but it sounds like the same type of characters just different actors and what not. Two siblings move to 90210 and feel out of place but this time they are not twims one is adopted.

I read about this happening in another discussion on mylot. I just don't think a spin off of Beverly Hills 90201 will get many viewers.
My curosity will get the better of me though and I will have to watch just to see how much it is like the old show.

I have not heard about this, is it just in US, mind you if it takes off then we will get it eventually.
I loved the original, I became quite a fan of Tori Spelling too, I did not watch it when it first started but got into it later on and then caught up with what I missed when it was shown from the beginning on another channel.
I am not sure how this would play out, I mean it will not be the same, and the characters, I think it would be too different for me to watch. But I would look at it though just for a nosey.

Im guessing its just US but I dont know I dont know much about it yet. I just read something somewhere lol. Could just be a rumor but they were listing the actors name so it must be real.

I never ever heard of the new version of 90210 at all. I think this new version will probably be a really great one. I always enjoyed the origional one. I love seeing all the beautiful girls on this show a lot. I bet there will be lots of new beautiful girls on the new version. Thank you for passing this around.

I didn't know this was happening either! As a 35 year old man I am somewhat embarrassed to say that I was a HUGE fan of this show when it was at it's peak! I would love to see the new version; but seeing as I am living in Egypt at the moment I doubt I will get the chance for now..... (God help me but I have the theme song running through my head now!) lol

Really? That's cool but it won't be as cool as the 1st one. I have always loved Shannen Doherty and have followed her shows to Charmed and Scared Tactics. I have been a real fan of the show 90210 as well..I do hope they show the new one here in our country soon.

I heard Tori Spelling will appear at least once, and that Jennie Garth would drop in periodically as a guidance counselor. I was a fan of the 90210 Brenda years. I even watched some of the Valerie years. But I was done when Gina came on. Enough. I'm not too crazy with some of the cast. I think they should have gotten some well known names. Is it a half hour, or an hour, do you know?

There's just not much on worth watching anymore. I hate talk shows, court t.v., and reality shows, or soap operas. Way too much drama for me. Then there are the crime shows, and situation comedies that are in poor taste. I hate watching sports and the news is terribly depressing. If I need to learn anyting, I turn to the internet. What else is there?

This is First Time I heard about this as well. I hate how they Do Rmake's. I mean Not all Remake's are ''bad'' there's alot that are really good. But Sometimes if you get the Wrong Person handleing it then you have a problem. The wrong actors and so on, Then you might as well Say its screwed. Just like how they are remaking Nightmare on Elm Street. I'm a huge fan of Nightmare on Elm street. But I'm afraid they are gonna screw up the Remake by putting Bad actors in it. One Bad Actor, Ruins the whole movie or Tv Show.

Hi minnie_98214! Oh, I am also a great fan of the show. I used to watch it regularly and I do hope that this new show will not be a copy of the old one too. We haven't seen any preview of the new show yet here in our country. Maybe, it will be aired here after a month or two or after a few weeks.

I will be tuning in to check it out too. And from what I have seen, it looks a tad bit like the original.
I did read that they still don't have the "Dad" yet. They are struggling to find him and are thisclose to just handing it over to Rob Estes without even testing him. They want him but, no word on whether he even wants the job.
But, I will tune in. I just hope it isn't another OC. LOL!

Yeah she wasnt one of my favorite either but despite that I stayed to watch all episodes lol. I loved all those high school sort of dramas im a dork but you already knew that.

LOL! I liked the OC for the first season. I never thought that Mischa Barton was a good actress. Personally, I thought they should have chosen another actress for that role and, should have recommended that Mischa take more acting lessons! Sorry! I know that is mean but, if she is going to put herself out there for the world to adore, she aught to hone her skills a little more. And, I stopped liking it around the second season and, while I think I continued to watch it through the 2nd season, I was done with it by the 3rd (if not the 2nd). I got really tired of watching Ryan get his butt beaten each and every episode. That was his name right? Anyway, I liked Seth and Summer. They were the only reasons I kept watching the show as long as I did. LOL! But, even they weren't enough to keep me glued.
As far as 90210, I hope for new content. A lot of these "High School" dramas center around the same material and, I hope that the writers can bring a fresh perspective to it. We'll see!

I didn't know that, I don't think is a nice idea, this series ended because was enough, I see this kind of things as a recycling of ideas. Productors better do something new!
