i have 2 records actually. how come 2? well, the 1st one, i was talking to someone whom i have never met, or even seen, you know, the chatroom/textmate kind of interaction? and then the 2nd one, i was talking to a girl pal of mine. so basically, the longest hours would be a solid 7 hours, i was talking to this "stranger" for the 1st time, he was sooo talkative and so am i, so it lasted that long. it started just after dinner at 8 PM and it ended at 3 AM. i had to end the call coz my dad will reprimand me for it if he wakes up and im still on the phone. and then the 2nd one is about 5 and a half hours, i was on the phone with my girl pal. we started at around 11 PM i think, and ended around 4 or 5 AM, cannot recall anymore but that was the 1st time i lasted that long on the phone, so it was my "1st record", so to speak. now im not into talking on the phone now, i'd rather stare at a pc or tv screen than blab on the phone. so how about you, are you or were you fond of talking on the phone? can you remember the longest time that you were blabbing on the phone? if yes, how long (or short) was it? who were you talking to when you made your "longest talk-time record"?

oh that's what my dad used to tell me all the time! this was way back during my high school days, it was summer vacation and a girl pal of mine were constantly hanging out often and talking to the phone everyday! he even said, "so who is the guy among the 2 of you?" he jokingly (or maybe not?!) thought that the 2 of us were lesbians coz we constantly talk! sometimes lasting till the we hours of the morning till her cordless phone goes low-batt!

LOL yeah that was a funny incident. guys dont understand that us girls are capable of talking for long hours, it is a "built-in" trait among most girls. anyway, have a nice day as well.

I don't really like talking on the phone, so I don't really have any extraordinary long phone calls. The longest phone call I had was probably 2 hours or so. xD

Well, my best talks were at night with my fiance when we were getting to know one another. The longest with him was about 3- 4 hours. Afer High School I had a huge crush on this guy and we talked on the phone till the sun was high in the sky so about 6 hrs if not more. Now ith friends or the mom , maybe 2 hrous ;) and by the way i would of stayed on the phone longer, but my dad also was getting up for work . He always would yell .

6 hours to my ex girlfriend... What a waste of a night that turned out to be. We were on the same mobile company so it didn't turn out into a huge bill.

I don't talk for long time on phone. I know it is better way to meet someone on phone if we can't meet personally. But we can enjoy the talk if we don't see the balance.

oh cool, 2 hours is like the average "long-conversation time" for most people. i myself consider that long enough. anything that exceeds for 1 hour is already long, LOL!

I think it was about 6 years ago talking i had talked to online..ive never met the person still. We talked for TWELVE HOURS It was an international phone call and i was so very glad it wasnt me making the call. I felt so bad letting him convince me to keep talking to him when it was that long. I found out later on the phone bill ended up being about 300 dollars for the one call. I was shocked and i did offer to help pay the bill but was told no it was ok it had been his choice to call and let it run that long.

12 hours? wow, that's half a day! i wonder if you are using a landline or cordless phone. well in my opinion, i think it was right that he did not let you pay the bill coz, after all, it was his choice. now i think skype is free to use, (not sure, i havent used it) but at least no more long-distance charges.

A land line as I couldnt have a cordless in that apt because It always picked up everyone else's calls in the background no matter what channel it was on.

Like 8 hours, all night, I had to pay my mom for the phone bill. The next morning I walked downstairs, told her I owed her like 30 dollars, and then I gave it to her.... That's how I avoided her finding out the time, or at least getting upset with me, before the bill came I warned her, and gave her what she needed...lol

LOL oh so you guys were talking on a cellphone? or long-distance perhaps? i had no additional charges with those calls coz those were local calls made on a landline. 8 hrs is quite long isnt it? its like going to work or school already! LOL

those phone calls were made after dinner, so ive eaten already. well, like i said, there were bathroom breaks in between and i was drinking water from time to time too. well, most people who last that long on the phone are either talkative, and has alot of things to say and laugh about, have a problem that needs to be resolved (ex. relationship problems) or they need some advice.

My longest time that I've been talking on the phone maybe about 6 hours... That is when I am in high school... My best friend and I were talking for none sense things.. I don't know but we were chatting on the phone for many topics like his favorite shoes, what are the experiences that he had experience in that day, etc... We never end up of topics to discuss... But now that I am working, I don't have anytime to have a long calls... we both don't talk to each other for so long after we graduated high school... he is the only persons that I've been talking for long time on the phone...

cool, we have pretty much the same record. yeah as we grow older and get busier, we dont have the time for long phone calls anymore.. i think thats strictly for teens coz they have more free time when they are still in school coz there are vacations and sem. breaks as compared as to when they are now working.

my longest has been with a close friend of mine and it was close to three hours. Normally Im the type of guy that it is a hello, this is whats going on, goodbye, 5 min conversation at the most. Also I enjoy talking while I drive as well cause driving can be boring.
