Hi. I agree with you that age in friendship is not matter. Many old people have young mind and many young people have old mind. Also the knowledge of life will be good for the young friend and the joy and adventurer mind from young friend will be good for the older friend.

When it comes to friendship, age does not get in the way you will learn a lot from friends of different age, and in return they learn something from you. :)

Ideally, people should have friends of all ages. While being friends with people our own age gives us a lot in common, we can learn things from everyone and especially from children.

Hi Dexter. My friends are chosen based on their personality not their age. Of course there are friends that fulfill various needs so having a variety is the way to go. (lol)

I don't think age matters in a real friendship. The difference in age just bring different poins of view based on life experences. And the older can learn as much from the younger as the younger from the older if they meet with open minds.

I have been acquainted to so many people but I only have my sister as my true friend. She's 35 now and I'm 12 years younger than her. We both get along though there are things that we differ from liking. I prefer to have a more mature friends before. I always have guy friends, they're actually friends of my sister. Now that I have moved and my sisters too, I kept myself from going out and talking to them. I have new friends now, they're from the building where I live and they're younger than me. They're fun and they're always in my room talking or whatver.. When I was still in school, my classmates are a year or two younger tahn me because I changed my course so I get a lower level at the university. Until I graduate they're the people I'm with most of the time.

I do not think that age matters all that much in friendship, but it can matter a lot in a boyfriend girlfriend relationship because then the differences become more apparent.

No not at all. I have many friends. And there are different ages. I have some that are older than me and some that are younger than me. I mean its just great to have friends in general. It will always grow to so much more if you give it a chance.

no i don't think it matters. as long as there's a meeting of two minds and understanding of two hearts. it's better to have friends from all ages. they help make your views wider. you see life at a different angle when you mingle with them.

Hi dexterlab, I agree with you. Age is not a matter in the friendship. It depends on understanding between the friends. My opinion is friendship has no limits......Nothing can affect the friendship such as age, religion, nation, money, etc....

Age really doesn't matter as long as you can relate with others and you are willing to listen. Age is really not a barrier.

I don't think age matters in most friendships. Caring about each other and having some things in common cement a good friendship.

Age doesn't matter to friendship but for sure you'll be having problem if you have none. It a good idea to have a lot of friends from different age range and walks of like. They can share with you things that you can't possibly have gone though. You'll be surprise to learn something from younger age as well as those older than you.

I believe that age does not matter when it comes to friendships. In my case, I have more friends who are older than I am. Of course, I do have friends who are of my age and who are younger than me. I have learned a lot about life especially from my friends who are more senior than I am. I think that their level of maturity has helped me become a better person in one way or another.

Well, I don't think age would be a determining factor in a friendship for me. I have friends older, and I have friends younger.
