With Hillary and Obama at each other's throats do democrats have another option?

Hillary and Obama have pretty much split the democratic party and it will be a long healing process. But it might cost the democrats the White House this time around as many supporters say that if the other candidate gets the nomination they'll vote for McCain. If you don't want to go that route, but also don't like the one the democrats end up nominating, how about a write in vote? I'm starting to think that Edwards dropped out of the race too early. Even though he endorsed Obama, I might just do a write in vote for Edwards. If more people would go that route, wouldn't that send a stronger message than voting for McCain?

Yes, it would send a message but, in the meantime, that's one less vote for the Democrats. I think the Democrates will come together after a nominee is chosen. I haven't decided where I stand yet but I do know that my vote is going to have some chance of mattering.
