I have £10 taken every month into my savings account. I hoping to use it to pay my mum back and for christmas!! When I lived at home I had loads of money in my savings but then i moved away and went out more and suddenly over time it disappeared!! Now its hard saving as there is always one bill to pay and its never ending!!

yah, i know what you mean. when you live alone or separated from your parents and you need to pay all the bills plus your daily food and needs, its hard to save money. hehehe. but then, maybe one day, you will know how to budget your money and have a little portion to save.. ?

Savings? What's that? LOL! I have a savings account that has a total of 10 dollars in it. I always plan to save money, but something always comes up and I need to use it. Good for you that you could save!

hi miller! well, its just a matter of budgeting your money ; minus your expenses and add it to the portion for your savings. Its really nice feeling when you know that you have money to rely on in times of emergency or money growing in a bank. (=

sometimes, i have as low as 1000 naira in my account, because thats the minimum you need to leave in your account else i will withdraw all.

That converts to about £4.36 in pound sterling!!
I save £10 a month which is 2293.20 naira.

i plan to save a lot... i'm getting my new home ready, so need a lot of extra money. saving every penny i could and spending it towards my new sweet home...
