What's your favorite cereal, and what memories does it bring while you eat it?

Mine is Froot Loops, "Orange, Lemon and Cherry!" What a tag line. My mom still gives me a box for Christmas each year and I'm 40, that's a lot of ringed goodness. It reminds me of a simple time when I could sit in front of the TV on Saturday morning and soak up Bugs Bunny and Tweety Bird's antics. Pour some milk on your memories and tell the world.

My favorite cereal would come down to a tie between Froot Loops and Frosted Flakes, because Froot Loops have lots of different colors and flavors, whereas Frosted Flakes have a really awesome taste,I remember when I would get up for school, the first thing I would do is eat me a couple of bowls of either, and they always helped me to prepare to face the day.

Froot Loops and Frosted Flakes, now there's a showdown. Both are good with or without milk. Two bowls? Pace yourself man.

I think Booberry, Count Chocula and Frankenberry are seasonal. I remember seeing the boxes at Halloween and they looked great. Never did like those flavors though, but Captain Crunch is delicioso with or without milk.

Well i wasnt a cereal eater as I dont like milk. My mom always tried to get me to eat oatmeal but I stuck to having some fruit or toaster strudels if we had any. Oh I loved those frosted treats so much.

Right now my favorite cereal is Kashi Go Lean Crunch, but as a kid I loved Alphabets and Froot Loops! Whenever I'm at the grocery store and see a parent buying a child those cereals I get a warm fuzzy memory of my happy little childhood, eating my cereal on the front porch before school.

My parents hated the "cereal aisle", they would just let us go crazy on that one asile though. We'd all get something different and never share. My wife likes the Kashi stuff too, it taste like cardboard to me though. Alphabets was fun, we tried to spell things but it would get soggy and we'd have to start over.

Mines is strawberry shortcake. They used to make this in the early 1980s. I used to have a strawberry shortcake doll, that would smell like sweet strawberries. I wish that they would make this cereal again. My niece has the cartoon on DVD.

I'm sure there's a pallett of it somewhere in a warehouse in SC. Strawberry Shortcake is gaining a following by moms of little girls everywhere, band together and ask for the cereal to be made again. I'm sure somebody has the recipie in a desk drawer at the home office.
