Rushing the field

Have you ever rushed a football field just before the end of the game to celebrate your team's success? Well, I have and sometimes relationships and being single remind me of that feeling. Being stuck in a massive crowd searching for an inch to move before you are pressed up against a fence that is about to break and fall to the ground.
A little graphic there, wasn't I. But sometimes as we search for someone, meet someone, and try to envision that someone in our future we get that rush of adrenaline, like our team is about to win after a long drought of games.
And then years later after you have graduated and moved on and find out that the team is different you loose that rush of a feeling. And you jump to another team.
What I am asking is do you think people "rush" into love way too fast? Are they searching for that feeling or are that searching for that true love? Or are we simply confused sometimes as we stand in that throng of people waiting behind the fence?
