Most of you know about what Bush and Rice said This is what he said: "There are 350 million people in India who are classified as middle class. That’s bigger than America. Their middle class is larger than our entire population. ” “And when you start getting wealth, you start demanding better nutrition and better food. And so demand is high, and that causes the price to go up" Does his words reflect the american way of thinking? I hope not. For the record America has one of the largest percentage of obesity in the world and the percent of food wasted per capita is larger there. India has one of the largest percentage of malnutrition in the world and everyday kids are dying everyday without food (or money). The American middle and upper class eat a lot more per person than India. India is a large country. Period. We dont need people who dont understand economics or society to make judgemental statements without knowing the truth. Does a developing country need to starve in order to keep american oil prices (and the presidents office) happy? What foolishness! Yes - the Indian middle class in India is starting to eat more - but that is none of your business Mr. Bush/Ms. Rice or anybody else who thinks that way - people in your own country have been doing that for years and you need to look at that. Stop picking on every country in the world! And trying to do damage-control by saying that it was a compliment to Indias improving economy is just crap - what you said has been on every TV channel and newspaper and was in VERY bad taste and as someone who has seen children die with no food/malnutrition I think it was thoughtless and hurting!

i don't understand of what it is Bush is trying to tell Indians to maintain a diet so that he could develop his country no one has right to say so all the leaders are present to look after needs of people and try to guide them to correct way and he has to right to guide people in his constitution and not the world he is not world leader he is just a public servant in USA who has got some powers to give good service to public and he should keep that in mind in that case i will say that that country people should always do only that work and they should not do other work it would be foolishness of myself if i say so what do you say
