ER:Is this the last scene for Abbey?

It was nice to see Abby and Luka getting back together. I was beginning to give up on ER and Abby. She is such a tortured soul and hasn't had any solid relationships. So it was nice to see her and Luka and her reconcile. But will it change by next season? I enjoyed the character played by Buscemi. He's such an under rated actor. But I wonder which character ended up going for the ride along in the ambulance. Maybe The Powers That Be at NBC don't know themselves, and they're waiting for contract disputes to be ironed out. I don't like the Linda Cardellini character. She's angry and self-righteous, so it wouldn't break my heart to see her leave. Pratt finally has things going right, and I'd like to see that storyline progress. Ah well, who knows? Is ER being renewed for another season?

I just saw this episode today (you should see the pile of videotapes sitting next to my tv!). It didn't surprise me that the ambulance blew up, but it did shock me. Does that make sense? When Greg went after that supply clerk who was actually legit, and when they had that little scene about the sticker on the rig, I figured that something would happen. It really did catch me off guard though. It seemed clear that Abby didn't get hurt. I hope she didn't. I loved seeing her and Luka get back together. If Greg was the one in the ambulance, I hope that ring wasn't in his pocket... :) Seriously, it would be just too cruel for the girl with cancer to have her boyfriend blown up like that, so maybe it is Sam who was in the ambulance? Actually, since we didn't see them get into the ambulance, perhaps Gates came by and went instead of either of them? Maybe that's just wishful thinking. I've never really liked that character. And, I thought the thing with Neela and the blonde guy was hinted at so heavily that it would certainly happen, and I really don't see the attraction between them. Also, she said something about him being there through nepotism, and I don't remember him being related to anyone. All in all, though, a wonderful episode! I hope they don't go and cancel ER over the summer. I cannot WAIT to see what happens next.
