I think my notify is broken

I have my notify turned on for everyone in my friends list, but there are some that I haven't gotten anything in my email for. I know that for a fact they are starting discussions, but not once have I been notified of a single one. Any ideas how come this is so??

I don't think your notify is broken, I think there is a glitch or something because I'm not getting all of my notifications either. I have like 45 people on my friends list and all of the notifies are on but I only recieve notifications from a few. I know more of them are starting discussions than what I am recieving. So I don't think it is just us.

If you think something is wrong, it might be best to contact Mylot, to see if there is a proble,. Sorry to hear that. All my notications are turned on and all my emails come through.

It probably has to do with a computer glitch on MyLot's end. This kind of thing happens to me all of the time, but it never lasts that long. It almost always resolves itsself after a few minues.

Hey jer, this too seems to be glitch from time to time. Some days I am getting my notifications and others i am not, and it does seem to be selective.... I still do not believe I am getting all of them.... Don't worry we are all hopeing eventually Mylot staff and admin will have this all worked out.

Lol, I am sure they will get it worked out eventually. I know what you mean about it being selective, I one friend that I am certain of, and if fact it was why I realized it in the first place, that I receive notices for responses and comments, but none when she starts a new discussion.

I do not know why this happens, but it does very occasionally. I have all my friends notify turned on, but some of the discussions I never get in my email at all and I have not got a clue why.
I have had where I have not had any notifications for about 3 days and then all of a sudden I have had hundreds come through where they have all been backlogged!! When this happens I usually go onto the myLot actual site and go through all my friends discussions on there just to make sure that I have not missed anyone out.

Every once in a while this happens...usually to me it happens on weekends when I think the traffic here is heavy. You might want to contact the adim. about it though so they can see if there is a glitch connected with your email notification.

Yes, I've noticed this too! I only get updates from 2 or 3 friends at the moment, but when I go to look at 'discussions my friends started' I can see that they've started lots that I don't know about. It must be a problem with myLot, I've been wondering what's going on. Thanks for starting this discussion so I know it's not just me.
