Yes. I have lied to someone to keep from hurting them. Sometimes, it is not necessary to divulge every detail of a situation, either. If telling the whole truth will only make matters worse, or will add insult to injury, there is nothing wrong with leaving out some details in most situations.

Yes, there is this one instance on where I have to make a lie to spare my friend's feeling coz somewhat she is not ready but after sometime, I told her the truth.

I think that everyone has told at least one white lie to save someone some dicomfort or heartache. I like to pride myself on being as honest as possible, but if the lie isn't going to hurt anyone and it's going to spare someone I care abouts feelings, then I'll definitly tell that lie.
