Hello Mylotters, just wanted to say I have 3 children, 2 boys and a girl, they say I was a horrible Mother, by that I did not allow them to run the streets and I knew where they were about 90% of the time. I must of done good as none of them are on the street or deal drugs, they all have a career, one a graphic designer, one a nurse and one runs a trucking company. I have lost a lot of time with them as I have lived a 1000 miles from them and usually only seen them once a year or so. And that makes me sad. But now i am with in a couple blocks of one, one is 2 buildings over from me and the other he is about 8 miles from me. Two of them i see all the time, the other is a very private person. He works hard and has a son that when he is off he spends time with. But it seemed that he just stopped coming by, it had been 5 months since I had seen him (day after Christmas to be exact) i ask the other 2 had they heard from him or seen him and they would say oh I talked to him the other day. I could not figure out what I had done to him to make him stay away, Sunday was mother's day and the other 2 came by with gifts and I waited all day nothing from him, it hurt me so much I went to bed and cried, he couldn't find the time to give me 5 minutes of his time. WELL DID I GET A SHOCK TODAY, I opened the door and found him standing there. He had a huge basket of beautiful flowers, 2 cartons of cigarettes as he knows I am on a fixed income, and $60. rolled up in the thing that holds the card. I was so shocked, he said he works so much that he did not even know that Sunday was mother's day and so this was to make up for it. He said he goes to work at 3:30am and does not get off till sometimes 7 or 8 o'clock, and his only thought is to go home and go to bed. He spent about 2 hours here and it was so nice to talk to him to see what was happening in his life. So i guess you have to have faith that your children will do the right thing, even if it takes them awhile to do it. So don't ever give up on your child he might surprise you one day. And the flowers are beautiful, I love my kids, but he was the first born after I lost the first one to stillborn, so he will always be special in my heart.

Such a beautiful relation you have with your children, I personally feel mothers are the only Gods we see on this earth. Even I love my mother a lot and can never imagine life without her. Hats off to all mothers, Happy belated mother's day.

Your story is so touching and very inspiring. A Mother's Heart should NEVER give up, no matter what. She might have experienced the sweetest of all pains from her children, but there is just this faith and love from deep within her, inevitably exceeding far beyond any pain, trouble, or even hatred! That is how Great a Mother's Love is! I myself is not a perfect daughter to my mom, but I can attest to the Greatness of her love in my most troubled times. She's the living Representative from Above. When things go terribly wrong, she stays by your side throught thick and thin, simply because she NEVER give up the faith that you can still stand proud after your fall.
