In the time of Play Station, X-box, Nintendo WII and PC games, did you still played the old board games? I do. Usually I will take them out to play when lots of family members or friends came to visit. My favorite board games had to be Monopoly. I had Indonesian version, dinosaurus version and my fav Star Wars version. Its refreshing sometimes just to play this simple games. I also love scrabble, snake and ladder and ludo.
What about you?

You have an impressive collection of Monopoly games, and I know that my husband would be rather jealous of the Star Wars version!
I've never really liked board games, I don't know why. So I'm a bit of a misery at Christmas when my family want to play games, and I only play begrudgingly. When I was younger, I think the only one I didn't really mind was ludo, and snakes and ladders is ok too.

I bet you did! It sounds like fun. I'd like to know what some of the places are and the Star Wars streets etc..

We are not really a board game family, mainly because the children argue too much and it doesn't make a good time.
But I love to play snakes and ladders. I think ludo must be my all time favoutite as my husband and i used to play the game a lot when we first got together. Why? I don't really know. We brought a new snakes nad ladders board and ludo was on the back so we started palying it and got hooked. We even used to have our own matches and scores together and when our friends came around.
I used to play monoply when I was a child, I can't spell so scrabble was awful for me to play as I could never spell much more than three letter words.
Enjoyed playing simple!!! borad games with eldest when she was young, shoppinmg games etc.

I also love playing ludos. I forgot about this game for a very long time but a few days ago, my sister bough Skippy peanut butter and get a LUDO games as a bonus. She never play it before (she was too small at time we play ludo) so I had to teach her and it fun to play it again after so long.

When I was a child I loved to play Candyland. In fact I'd still play it if someone would play with me!
But I also like Trivial Pursuit and the TV Guide game. I don't know if they still sell the TVGuide game, but I got it a few years ago for my sister. My parents love to play Scrabble.

I love monopoly! Don't have a set anymore, though, as I live alone. I used to play it with myself, handling the "other" person's finances and all but not anymore. I also like to play a marble game that you have to take all your marbles around the board without getting captured and sent back to the start. I don't know what it's called but my uncle made a beautiful wooden board for my family more than 40 years ago and I still have it, just have nobody to play it with.
