Yes, a resume may have a great impact on everyone's career. That's why there are many websites that are giving advices about writing a good resume. But a resume is not only a factor that determines your career. Interview also plays an important role and you know what... I always hate to go to job interviews because honestly, job interviews are often biased. What do you think?

In actual fact, by having a good resume, half the battle's won. Even if you did badly in interviews, the resume will save you. I think that a person's resume is extremely important in the way that it starts his or her career as without a good resume, employers are unlikely to give you the job and are more likely to give it to someone with a better resume. Also, in the unfortunate event that you do get retrenched or fired, your resume will come in critical in finding you a job that is similar to what you have been doing so far as employers will be able to see the benefits that you can bring to them and subsequently to the company. So i think that its vitally important that you keep a good resume, so that your career will be the best that it can be.

Yes, I think it does have an impact on your career. But it also goes both ways. Your career is basically what you're putting in your resume.
